Turning Blanks

Wood turning blanks, local and exotic.  Most are urban, reclaimed turning blocks in an ever-changing assortment.  Maple, black acacia, carob, olivewood, camphor, carolina cherry burl, walnut, juniper, mulberry and mrytlewood are frequently offered.  Exotics include cocobolo and ziricote.  Hard to find ziricote off-fall, the first cut off of the tree, allows one side of a shallow turning to be contrasted with its distinctive sapwood.
