Our Camphor burl blocks are from Burma, now called Mynamar. Unlike local camphor, this solid burlwood has rich coffee-tones with almost cats-eye figure. Working it is an aromatic pleasure, for sure.  Each substantial block weighs from 25 to 35 lbs and is suitable to be cut into turning blanks, small sheets as in the adjacent photo or veneer.
